Christmas is already very near and my letter may not reach you in time. However, in my thoughts and prayers I wish you a peaceful Christmas and God’s overwhelming love and blessing for the new year 2001. May the Lord strengthen you day by day and provide you with health for your body and soul and peace for your heart and mind. 

I so often think about you and are so happy and grateful that I was given the chance to meet and talk to you during my visit to Korea. I felt so richly blessed when I returned to Germany and still remember all the details of our meeting, the beautiful lunch and the sharing of fellowship and thoughts. Thank you once more for the precious experience and thank you for the beautiful necklace I received from you and the other ladies. I love to wear it! Thank you very much for the tape you gave me!! It was wonderful to see you at the TV just some weeks ago. In connection with the noble-peace-prize, German TV sent a very informative and good film in which you were shown in your house, surrounded by your husbands pictures, writings, drawings etc. I was deeply moved!
