90년대 말, 2000년대 초의 댄스홀 뮤직으로 각광받았던 장르는 역시 일렉트로닉이다. 그 중에서도 힙합에 영향을 받은 트립합, 재즈에 영향을 받은 퓨쳐 재즈 등의 음악 매니아로부터 많은 호응을 얻었다. 본 앨범은 당시 유럽과 일본의 댄스 클럽에서 최고의 인기를 구사했던 DJ의 음악을 모은 컴필레이션 앨범이다. 당시에 클럽을 좀 다녀봤다는 이들이라면 익숙한 이름 익숙한 음악으로 구성되어있다. 많은 사람들은 당시를 매우 촌스러운 음악이 많았던 시절로 기억하지만, 최고의 DJ로 구성된 이 앨범을 들으면 1999년 세기말 사운드가 그렇게 촌스럽지만은 않다는 것을 느낄 수 있을 것이다.
